Get ready for a thrilling upcoming season
The curtains have been lifted and Tencent has finally revealed the PUBG Mobile Esports 2025 roadmap for the upcoming season. It was announced on the second day of the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals.
This contains a robust schedule of events, as well as a $10 million investment in the global esports industry. Let’s check out more details in this article.
PUBG Mobile Esports 2025 global tournaments
- PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO): The second edition of PMGO, which began in Brazil in 2024, will take place in Uzbekistan in March and April. Teams will qualify via regional qualifications, bringing together the finest from around the world.
- PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC): The PMWC will take place in Riyadh once again as part of the famous Esports World Cup. Top PMSL Spring performances will earn a berth in this high-profile event, which honors many games in one venue.
- PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC): Details on this flagship event are forthcoming, but it is intended to cap off the competitive year with the world’s finest teams competing for supremacy.

Regional expansion with PMSL
Tencent is also focusing more on the regional areas, expanding to five regions:
- Southeast Asia
- Europe
- Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
- Central and South Asia (CSA)
- Americas
In the previous year, Europe and MENA were combined into one but now, it will be different. Now that each area hosts its own PMSL, there will be two editions, Spring and Fall, giving teams several chances to shine and qualify for global competitions.
Local tournaments
Tencent is also looking forward to bolstering a more competitive scenario in PUBG Mobile. They will also focus on hosting more local tournaments in 2025. These events are intended to develop new talent and broaden the game’s reach by offering a pathway for players to progress from local to global levels.
