BGMS Season 4 breaks barriers with first-ever Gujarati livestream

In a move that brings esports closer to fans in their own language, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS Season 4) is streaming its first-ever Gujarati language feed for Season 4, co-produced by the Duolingo English Test (DET).
Streamed on NODWIN Gaming and DET’s YouTube channels, the Gujarati feed opened to a roaring start with 165,000 views on Day 1 alone, underlining the passion and demand for regional-language esports content. Running from August 18 to September 14, 2025, the season gives Gujarati-speaking fans the chance to experience the tournament in their own language with a unique local flavour.

BGMS Season 4 kicked off on Monday with a massive prize pool of INR 1.5 crore. A total of 48 teams are competing this season, with 24 teams playing in the Masters Series League Stage and the other 24 in the Challengers Series League Stage.
Over the course of the tournament, Gujarati-speaking fans will get to enjoy 164 games with live commentary in Gujarati, led by popular casters Jayesh Prajapati (Engineer The Gamer), Vinod Keshwala (Firestar) and Jitendra Patel. To make the experience even bigger, fans can also join exclusive watch parties with leading Gujarati streamers and casters, celebrating the excitement of competitive gaming together.
Gujarat has emerged as one of India’s most dynamic regions for both gaming and global education. It is a top market for esports viewership while also being a leading state for study-abroad aspirants, sending thousands of students every year to key destinations. In addition to matches, the Gujarati feed will also spotlight the journeys of rising stars throughout the tournament, giving fans the chance to connect with players and their stories as they unfold.
