The fans of Pokemon GO are currently excited as Black & White Kyurem are finally making their way in the game as part of the upcoming Unova Tour in February 2025. Initially, only trainers attending in-person events in Los Angeles and Taipei will be able to confront these powerful Fusion Pokemon.

What we know about Black and White Kyurem?

This arrival has been waited for almost a year now by the fans after their accidental appearance as rewards in the GO Battle League (GBL). But now the official announcement has confirmed that.

These Pokemon are not only visually appealing but they are also projected to be powerhouses, having a huge impact on the competitive landscape in the GO Battle League.

Fusing Kyurem: How does it work?

For those acquainted with the Fusion mechanism from Pokémon GO Fest, the method of fusing Kyurem with either Zekrom or Reshiram will be similar:

• Fusing with Zekrom requires 1000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy, which yields Black Kyurem.
• Fusing with Reshiram uses 1000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy to create White Kyurem.

You will be able to gain the necessary Fusion Energy by just participating in the raid against Black or White Kyurem during the Unova Tour. After the raid, you will encounter Kyurem in its original form, ready for fusion.

Special moves for fusion forms

For now, there is no solid information on the adventure effects, however, fans can expect them to come with a unique move-in Pokémon GO:

• Black Kyurem will have the move Freeze Shock.
• White Kyurem will wield Ice Burn.
