Must-play games for Pokemon lovers

Since the past 27 years, there have been many games from nine generations and we will talk about the five best Pokemon games, which could be considered one of the greatest Pokemon games of all time.

Role-playing monster-catching games have always been a fan favorite and here is the list of games, which we consider to be the best.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released in 2022 and shook the Pokemon industry and fans with its semi-open world gameplay. If you have played Pokemon Go on your smartphone, it is pretty similar to it. In the game, we see the protagonist is sent back in time and travels through the Hisui region. You can roam around the semi-open world and collect the Pokemon all over the map.

Another masterpiece made by Game Freak, Pokemon Emerald, can be considered to be the best Pokemon games of all time. This was also my personal favorite Pokemon game. In this game, you have to explore the Hoenn region and conquer the eight Pokemon gyms. Only then can you challenge the elite four and Hoenn Pokémon League Champion. There is also a subplot where you have to defeat two criminal organizations.

3. Pokemon Conquest

One more fun Nintendo DS anniversary. The 1st collaboration between Koei/Nintendo (correct me if this is wrong) was Pokemon Conquest released 7 years ago. Pokemon Conquest was a crossover with Nobunaga’s Ambition game series and was released in 2012. In this game, you travel through the Ransei Region, collecting and battling the Pokemon. You also have to face warriors and warlords to conquer and unite the region. This is an excellent tactical and strategic role-playing game for Pokemon.

Not only the gameplay, but the soundtrack in the Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 was so good that you could spend hours and hours playing it. Not having this game on the best Pokemon games list will be a crime. This game was released in 2012 and the story follows after the events of Black and White. You will begin your journey as a Pokemon trainer to become the Unova Region’s champion.

Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver are the greatest and best Pokemon games of all time that have been ever made. I don’t think anyone would have any objection to this selection. In this game, you have to become the best Pokemon trainer in both Johto and Kanto regions. You can raise and collect Pokemons and then defeat other trainers.
