DOTA 2: Blast Slam 2024 teams and format

Blast Slam 2024 DOTA 2 tournament is scheduled to start on November 26, 2024. 10 teams will be split into two groups, five teams each in one group. There, they’ll compete in a “King of the Hill” best-of-one round-robin series. Teams are sorted into a gauntlet-style single-elimination bracket based on their ranking so that no teams are eliminated in the group stage:

• The top team from each group will start in the semifinals.
• Second place begins the playoff run in the quarterfinals.
• Third place begins in the second round of the playoffs.
• Round one of the playoffs begins with the fourth and fifth positions.
