The next FPS extraction shooter, Bungie’s Marathon, has now finally received an update and a full 22-minute ViDoc video, where it showcased everything about the game and new gameplay.

Official release & pricing for Bungie’s Marathon

It has been finally confirmed that Bungie’s Marathon will release in March 2026 for PS5 and PC. The exact release date is still a mystery for now.

The game will be priced at $39.99/€39.99/£34.99. It is expected that it will have region-based adjustments, which will be revealed later.

The battle pass in the game will never expire and players will be able to buy the previous ones anytime. Crucially, “survival will never come down to how much money you spend”: Zero P2W, pure skill/loot grind.

• Dire Marsh: Action-packed narrative hub.
• Outpost: PvE gauntlet (guards, drones, traps).
• Cryo Archive: Marathon Ship’s deadliest zone, high-risk, high-reward loot.

Weapons, Loot & Factions

There will be over 400 weapon mods for some amazing customs. One example is that there is a silencer attached to a pistol and when you get a kill with it, you automatically go invisible.

Upgrade Runner Shells (launch archetypes) with cores/implants. Factions provide jobs (“blow up the UESC dropship”), seasonal trees, and capstone rewards.
