Activision has officially revealed the Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 roadmap, which provides the first look at the massive content update for Modern Warfare 4.
This update is scheduled to arrive on November 6, 2026, and it will bring new maps, gameplay improvements, a progression system, additional perks and more.

Two new maps in Call of Duty Warzone Season 1
The main highlight is the two new maps. Hajin map will join the Battle Royale playlist and will feature dynamic weather, interactive environments, and its dedicated Gulag.
Zodiac is the new Resurgence map that will offer a compact battlefield that is designed for fast-paced combat.
Verdansk and Rebirth Island will also return later during Season 1, providing fans with the classic locations to revisit.
New gameplay features & modes
There are many quality-of-life improvements. Tactical sprint is now available to every player and it will not require a specific perk. But its overall duration has been reduced for better balancing.
Rescues are also safer during the hottest firefights, with another major addition that enables players to drag downed teammates to revive them. It also adds an Operator Skin Toggle, allowing players to select which Operator skins are used during the games.
Here are the new game modes that will launch in Call of Duty Warzone Season 1:
- Rally Point – A 20-player practice-focused Resurgence mode with unlimited respawns and exclusive rewards.
- Massive Resurgence – A 120-player mode set on Hajin with evolving gas circles.
- Loaded Resurgence – A 44-player playlist where everyone starts with their custom loadouts.
