Details about the new free update for Clair Obscur Expedition 33

CEO and creative director Guillaume Broche & Sandfall Interactive shared the information that, as a big thank you for all the players and fans around the game, they will be releasing a new free update for the game.

Fans can expect a brand new region to explore, extra boss battles, new costumes and even more surprises which will be revealed in the game.

For now, the exact release date has not been announced, but Guillaume has said that the fans can expect the update in the coming months.

The Game Awards 2025 is arriving soon and a free update reveal during that time with a shadow release might become the play for Sandfall Interactive.

What’s next for Sandfall Interactive?

PCGamesN recently interviewed COO and producer Francois Meurisse and asked about what are their plans beyond this free update.

There is a live action movie in production, a concert tour’s touring and they are also building a full-blown “Clairiverse” or “Obscuriverse.”

“Expedition 33 is just one story in this universe,” Broche shared. They are surely going to keep something amazing for their next big project.

Another great part is that Sandfall Interactive is keeping its team small for better management and creativity. The team wants to build crazy projects because they love them and they are ready to deliver something amazing once again.
