COR3CORP is behind the project, which appears to be intimately linked to Nikita Buyanov, the long-time leader of Battlestate Games and the creative mind behind Escape from Tarkov.

What is COR3?

This game marks the first major non-Tarkov project associated with Nikita Buyanov in over a decade.

That website put users in the shoes of an investigator investigating abandoned systems with minimal equipment, emphasizing the notion that COR3 will focus primarily on atmosphere, intrigue, and environmental storytelling.

Even though the trailer is now available, much about the game remains purposely obscure.

Trailer breakdown

From the COR3, we can see the game is in first person perspective, pretty familiar to Tarkov players.

The firearm in question bears the “Kalash Corp” branding, which adds to the link to Buyanov’s prior work.

The camera then pulls back to reveal Mariner City, a destroyed colony on Mars, before moving into the planet’s skies and eventually deep space.

The last scenes depict wrecked spacecraft and drifting cosmonauts wearing suits emblazoned with red stars, implying a Russian rather than Western sci-fi influence.

For now, there is no release date confirmed for the game. However, it is for sure that this is the next most anticipated FPS shooter game that fans are now looking forward.
