Since Rockstar Games has officially revealed the pricing for GTA 6, some fans and gamers are hoping to get the game at a discount or on sale.
However, according to Take-Two (Rockstar parent company) CEO Strauss Zelnick, they have no plans to reduce the price anytime soon.

Take Two plans to keep GTA 6 at full price
The new report has suggested that the Ultimate Edition, that cost $100, is easily outperforming the Standard Edition in pre-orders.
Now, during a recent discussion with CNBC, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has explained that they generally avoid discounting the game shortly after the launch.
He also noted the same case with GTA V, which remained at its original price for a very long period of time before it started to get meaningful discounts.
“We preserved our pricing on Grand Theft Auto V for a very long time—much longer than a standard release.”
Now, they will follow the same strategy with GTA VI. This is one of the biggest entertainment launches in history and the demand will always be there even without the discount.
