In a recent interview with journalist Jason Schreier, Zelnick has revealed that GTA 6 pre-orders have already exceeded Take-Two’s own expectations, which indicates that the demand for Rockstar Games’ next blockbuster is massive.

Rockstar Games has already confirmed that the extended look will premiere on August 27, 2026. First, it will stream on Netflix and later it will become available on YouTube.
According to Jason, players can expect a “meaty” look at the actual gameplay of GTA VI this time. This also suggests that this presentation will go beyond the cinematic trailers that have been revealed so far.
Take Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick has also explained that the fans and players will understand why Rockstar Games chose Netflix for the premiere. It is described as a “Must-See Event.”
