DOOM: The Dark Ages reveals new gameplay at Xbox Developer Direct

The fans and the whole gaming community were especially waiting for this and we finally have gotten a confirmed release date and new gameplay for DOOM: The Dark Ages. This game is all set to officially release on May 15, 2025, on multiple platforms including Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5.

This is what ‘Peak Gaming’ looks like and ID Software definitely knows how to deliver it. The fan’s expectations and hope for this game are insane and they have just hyped us even more with the new gameplay and confirmed release date.

Full adrenaline, slaughter, chop, bloody, gore, power, manly combat and I am seriously trying to find more words on how to describe this trailer and showcase. This was pure cinema and as a die-hard Doom franchise fan, I am so satisfied. I am 100% sure that the die-hards fans are really happy right now and can’t wait to slaughter demons again.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is a single-player, action-packed first-person shooter that acts as a predecessor to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal. Players will take on the role of the DOOM Slayer, a legendary warrior known for his unwavering battle against the powers of Hell. This game claims to dive into the cinematic genesis narrative of the DOOM Slayer’s renowned anger, which will take place in 2025.

This time it’s all power power and being strong to stand on your ground alone. That’s what we can expect with the DOOM: The Dark Ages gameplay, new mechanics, weapons, tools and more. We even got a huge fu**ing mecha that we can ride and kill more demons. There was also a fast glider-type machine which also looked quite fun. Overall, DOOM: The Dark Ages is already 10/10 for me and I can’t wait to play this game.
