Super Perception is a skill that is very important in order to deflect beams in the game. This skill will use ki and skill counts, so manage that well in the match.
There is also a requirement that you need to fulfill before you pull this off:
- Two Skill Points
- Ki
Now when your opponent is trying to use a beam attack, you have to press circle/B on your controller. If it’s timed well, your character will slap away the beam attack in a different direction and your player will not receive any damage.

To perform a defensive teleport, all you have to do is press R1/RB (standard), circle/B (classic) on your controller when the attack is about to hit you.
Rush High-Speed Movement
This will allow you to teleport around your enemy in mid-combo. Just tilt your right analog stick in any direction and press R1/RB (on Standard) or O/B (on Classic) to perform this in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
Rush High-Speed Return
This will allow you to teleport behind your enemy, countering them. To perform this, you have to press R1/RB (on Standard) or O/B (on Classic) immediately after an opponent uses Rush High-Speed Movement.
Z-Counter
This will allow you to teleport behind your enemy before performing a smash attack. To perform this, you have to press R1/RB (on Standard) or O/B (on Classic) at the moment you are about to be hit by a follow-up attack or Z-Counter.
Vanishing Assault
This will allow you to teleport behind your enemy and perform a smash attack at close range. To perform this, you have to press square+X or X+A on your controller in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
