At Battle Hour 2026, Bandai Namco officially revealed the mysterious Project Age 1000 as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. The long-time fans and players of the franchise were pretty excited after the announcement.

Project AGE 1000 finally revealed
The mysterious Project AGE 1000, which was first teased at Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri 2026 had fans and players all over the world in deep discussion.
But now, during the Battle Hour 2026, Bandai Namco officially confirmed this project as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. This title was previously mistakenly leaked by the official Bandai Namco YouTube channel playlist.
This new entry in the franchise promises to expand time-travelling action and RPG mechanics, which made this franchise so popular among the fans.
First details and story tease
Early details of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 suggest that this will take place in West City during AGE 100. This will offer a new setting for the Dragon Ball universe and storyline.
In the debut trailer, fans can also see the new character named Brett, who is navigating through the futuristic city before beign called into action for an incident in “New City.”
The trailer was cinematic and there was no gameplay shown. However, they provided information about the fresh directive narration, new characters, and game modes. Brett was also seen later partnering up with a mysterious white-haired ally.
Xenoverse 2 supports end!
With the announcement of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, the support for Xenoverse 2 will come to an end. The final DLC, titled Future Saga Chapter 4, will release in Summer 2026.
A preview for the last DLC featured some renowned heroes and villains, as well as a mysterious, darker form of Chronoa, which has already aroused fan speculation.
