How does it stack up against NBA 2K’s Park?
Recently, fans have received an announcement related to the new EA FC 25 Open World and world tour feature that is in development. The community was excited as a new feature totally different from any previous FIFA games would be making its way this time.
However, this mode is quite similar to NBA Park and online mode. Let’s delve into the details to explore how Open World will differentiate itself from NBA Park.
What does EA FC 25 Open World have to offer?
Although EA has not revealed proper information on the open-world feature, the community is already excited and can see the resemblance to NBA Park.
This mode will allow players to employ their custom players in an atmosphere where they can engage with the community and friends.
This feature seeks to provide a more immersive, sandbox-like experience for football games, allowing users to participate in a variety of game formats such as 1v1, 3v3, 5v5, and 7v7, with a focus on a street-style or Rush mode of football.
World Tour Objectives
While not an “open world” in the sense of unrestricted exploration, EA FC 25 offers a World Tour mode with objectives, such as in Spain, in which players complete various challenges involving matches with specified squad compositions.
This may not be EA FC 25 open world in the usual sense, but it does represent a bigger, more diversified gameplay experience outside of traditional matches.

EA FC 25 Open World different from NBA Park?
Although the idea is the same, there is still a major difference which is the sport itself. This means that the nature of games, player moves, skills, and strategies will vary greatly.
NBA 2K features well-established park modes, whereas EA FC 25’s open-world component is still in an early announcement with little information, implying that it may not be completely realized until a future game such as FC 27, depending on fans’ speculations.
