The countdown to the FIFA World Cup is almost over and EA Sports FC is also ready to bring out the EA FC 26 The World’s Game update tomorrow.
This World Cup event will introduce a dedicated tournament mode, major Ultimate Team changes, new International teams and plenty of rewards for players.

FC 26 The World’s Game update will arrive on June 4, 2026. Although EA Sports FC has not revealed the exact timings, you can expect the content to drop at the usual release time of 6 PM BST.

What to expect?
The major highlight is going to be the World Cup tournament mode. EA Sports is also adding multiple new teams, which will bring the total number of playable nations to 53.
41 World Cup-qualified teams will be available, along with iconic stadiums. Ultimate Team is also receiving some major changes in the game.
Players will be able to earn Festival of Football Tokens through Rivals, objectives, squad battles and SBCs. Additional features also include:
- Free 93-rated Festival of Football Icon Pelé
- Three Choose Your Journey Evolutions
- New PlayStyles Lab customization system
- Festival of Football: Journey of Nations objectives
- Over 100 new international players
- New Icons Mario Kempes and Rivellino
Career mode is also receiving World Cup integration, which is going to allow managers to guide their national teams through competition.
