Ultimate Scream promo explained

Ultimate Scream is essentially a limited-time curse in which EA handpicks “screamers”—underrated or meme-worthy cards—and unleashes terrible perks throughout Halloween week.

Imagine, Centre Back suddenly sprinting at above 85+ pace or a poacher packing 99 shooting for one week. It’s like they are on some special steroids. You can see many squad surprises and market chaos during this time.

This promo first started in FIFA 17 and we haven’t seen this since FIFA 20. On the Activision day of the promo, your normal gold cards can receive one or two stat explode, and can become the meta monster for a whole week.

A 70-rated Fellaini once achieved 99 mph, transforming him into a streaking scarecrow; Mertesacker received 80 mph for Arsenal nostalgia.
