EA Sports FC is introducing several changes and features to Ultimate Team, including brand-new EA FC 27 Holographic Cards. Although this item wonât improve a playerâs in-game performance, it will add a premium visual style & play an important role in the FUT Gallery progression system.

What are EA FC 27 Holographic Cards?
These are the special cosmetic versions of the existing Ultimate Team player items. Instead of a new tier, EA Sports has designed them to stand out visually. These cards will have premium animations and enhanced presentation.
Every eligible special item, for example, Team of the Week cards and promotional player items, will receive a Holographic version.
Even though they have a unique appearance, these cards will have the same ratings, stats and attributes as the standard versions.
Regular vs Pristine EA FC 27 Holographic Cards
EA Sports FC has also confirmed that the EA FC 27 Holographic Cards will come in two different versions. The regular card will feature an animated foil effect that will provide a more eye-catching appearance than a standard version item.
The Pristine Holographic Cards are even rarer. This version will include premium design elements. Expect them to have a stylized player name, which will make them a visually distinctive version of the card.
All player items are only unique as one Holographic variant, so a card will not be Regular and Pristine at the same time.
How to get EA FC 27 Holographic Cards
Players will be able to obtain these cards by using the same methods that are used to acquire the other Ultimate Team items.
By opening packs, purchasing cards on the transfer market and earning through gameplay. Some of the FUT Gallery milestone rewards will also provide a chance to grant the Holographic items.
Importance of Holographic Cards
Once again, these cards will not provide any advantages in gameplay, player attributes, or stats.
However, they will contribute a higher score in the FUT Gallery set. These cards are less common than the normal special items, and are likely to offer a higher number of collection points when theyâre submitted to the new FUT Gallery system.
This can aid players in achieving higher Set Grades, Gallery Levels and exclusive rewards.
