New icons & legends coming to FC 27
EA Sports FC has now officially announced the class of EA FC 27 ICONS, a fresh lineup of legends that will be joining the game. In this new batch, it includes iconic players like Sergio Agüero, Raphaël Varane, Pepe, Christine Sinclair and more.

Raphael Varane, Sergio Aguero & Sinclair headline the new ICON class
In the new ICON class roster, it celebrates the football stars that have left a deep mark on the game across different generations and leagues.
Here are the confirmed EA FC 27 ICONS:
- Sergio Agüero
- Raphaël Varane
- Pepe
- Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
- Christine Sinclair
- Formiga
- Hege Riise
- Yūki Nagasato
- Tobin Heath
- Ellen White
Christine Sinclair is one of the biggest highlights as she becomes the first Canadian footballer to be inducted into the EA Sports FC franchise as an ICON. A widely acknowledged one of the best women footballers of all time, Sinclair’s entry is another major achievement when it comes to a player being more represented in Ultimate Team.
In the meantime, former Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero is added to the ICON roster after years of fans’ requests, and defensive giants Pepe and Raphaël Varane are added into the mix of defensive options in FUT.

Lúcio and Yaya Touré become ICONs
EA Sports FC has also officially confirmed that Lúcio and Yaya Touré are no longer going to be hero cards. They have both been upgraded to ICONs in EA FC 27.
