Elden Ring developers teases a new game: Everything you need to know

A new Souls game?

FromSoftware is always known for its Souls games like Dark Souls, Sekiro and many more. The last game by them was Elden Ring and it’s DLC. The game was released in 2022, and since then many fans have been wondering about their new project.

A famous leaker, “Kurakasis,” has provided some information about their new project. Let’s check out more details in this article.

FromSoftware new project ‘CL’

Before we proceed, we would like to let you know that these are based on rumors and leaks for now as nothing is confirmed yet.

According to Kurakasis, “FromSoftware was working on before the release of the Elden Ring DLC had the codename CL. I haven’t found any info suggesting that the Elden Ring DLC has a different codename than the base game (GR – Great Rune), so it’s possible that CL is a new FromSoftware game.”

“To be clear, CL can be an abbreviation for a codename. In the case of Elden Ring, the codename was ‘Great Rune,’ but only the abbreviation GR appears in the game files.”

So, FromSoftware might be working on a new game before the release of DLC. In that case, this might take a really long time before we get any other information about this new game.

The fans were having their own enjoyment in the comment section of Gamingleaksandrumors about guessing the name of the game.

One Reddit user commented, “CLOODBORNE CONFIRMED LETS GO.” This was literally the reference for the Bloodborne.

While others were hoping for the Capra Lemon, boss of Dark Souls. Some jokes related to Castlevania and Concord lives were in the comment section.

Some Reddit users were also talking about the Champions League. They were talking about how FromSoftware will finally reveal EA FC 25 competitors and deliver the best football game for the ages.
