Elden Ring Nightreign sales skyrocket: 3.5 million copies sold in five days

Despite Elden Ring Nightreign not being a perfect game for Souls fans, it isn’t stopping FromSoftware games from selling like hot cakes.

The official social media account has announced that it has already sold 3.5 million copies worldwide in just five days.

Recently, the Elden Ring official X handle posted that the game has sold 3.5 million copies in five days. This follows the launch day success, where the game sold 2 million copies.

To commemorate, FromSoftware promised new DLC later this year, including improved combat and two-player adventures.

Furthermore, a recent patch enhanced the single-player experience by addressing player feedback and adding features such as a single respawn and boosted rune rewards.

Despite not getting the reviews like Elden Ring, the game is still doing pretty well among the Souls fans.

Bandai Namco acknowledged a patch to improve the single-player mode, recognizing that while Nightreign is primarily a multiplayer game, solo gamers deserve attention.

I think the price segment of $40 also played a huge part in the sales. This pattern is getting repetitive with all the $40-50 games and indie games getting major success, while $60-70 games are just getting flopped.

Recently, they also revealed the first post-launch update, where they added improvements for the solo expeditions.

In Days 1 and 2, players will now be able to resurrect once per night during boss battles. You will also gain additional runes.

Co-op excursions will see a rise in the quantity of rare Relics rewarded after reaching Day 3.

If you thought the Small Jar Bazaar to be particularly bad with Scenic Flatstone rewards, high-rarity Relics now have a better probability of falling.

The rest of the Elden Ring Nightreign patch contains bug fixes, adjustments to some camera behavior during the Guardian’s “Wings of Salvation” Ultimate.
