First-ever emergency patch in Marvel Rivals!
There is no doubt that Elsa Bloodstone’s debut in Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 was literally amazing. She joined as a duelist and literally took over every lobby as a server admin.
Constant complaints from the players on social media and forums led NetEase to drop an emergency hotfix balance patch. This balance patch update will drop on February 19, 2026. Let’s check out which hero is getting nerfed and buffed in the latest patch.
Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 hotfix balance patch 0219
Growing complaints from players and the community have finally prompted Netease to address the poke meta. Hawkeye, Hela, Gambit and Elsa Bloodstone are getting nerfs and this balance patch will go live on February 19, 2026, at 9 AM UTC. There will be no server downtime for this update.
Elsa Bloodstone nerfed shortly after release
The newly released DPS character is getting nerfed after constant complaints from the players and community.
The hotfix limits Glartrox’s usefulness by lowering its health from 500 to 400, shortening its dash length from 6 to 3.5 seconds, and shrinking its enemy grab hitbox.
Despite that, we think Elsa will still remain a pretty strong DPS pick, due to her movements, damage output and a great disruptive Ultimate.

Hawkeye’s damage output reduced
The oneshot demon is finally getting nerfed. He was terrorizing lobbies with high-piercing damage shots and the ability to one-shot many characters.
Piercing Arrows’ base damage decreases from 34 to 28, while fully charged arrows’ damage decreases from 85 to 70. Even with Archer’s Focus active, the boosted charged shot now does 160 damage rather than 175.
Hela’s Long-Range threat adjusted
One of the strongest DPS characters since season 0 is also getting nerfed. The patch increases her damage falloff at longer ranges, making her Nightsword Thorn ability less lethal beyond 25-30 meters. Notably, two critical hits will no longer knock out a 250 HP enemy at long range.
Despite that, Hela will still be one of the strongest DPS characters in the game, due to her great damage and close-range stun ability.
Gambit gets health and damage boost nerfs
The best character and the strongest support, who is banned almost every game, Gambit is also receiving nerfs. His base health has been reduced from 275 to 250.
Breaking Spades now grants a 10% damage boost instead of 15%. NetEase is moving in the right direction, but they should have nerfed Gambit’s Ultimate, which is the main problem in the game right now. Hopefully, they will address this in the next season. You can read the official patch notes on the Marvel Rivals website.
