The Epic Games Store has finally wrapped the holiday sale free games list by revealing the mystery free games for January 1 and 2, 2026. Wildgate (#16) and Total War Three Kingdoms (#17) are the two games that are available to claim from January 1 at 9 AM PST for Wildgate (24 hours), then January 2 for the next 24 hours.

Wildgate: PvPvE Extraction Shooter

In July 2025, Moonshot Games’ (ex-Blizzard devs) launched the PvPvE extraction shooter, Wildgate, that blends co-op survival with some crazy rivals raid in The Reach.

Squads of four repair spacecraft, collect relics, and defend against threats; unpredictable anarchy prevails. Winter Festival update (December 18) introduced proximity chat and hazards.

Total War Three Kingdoms

Creative Assembly’s 2019 masterpiece (12th Total War) lets players dive into China’s famous Three Kingdoms era.

You will find deep diplomacy, hero armies, massive battles and even fates divided DLC wrapped in 2021. It’s an amazing game for all the gamers who love strategy and using their brains.
