Cassette Beasts: Story & Gameplay
Stranded on New Wirral, a strange island abounding with monsters, you and your eccentric pals “record” beasts on cassette tapes to transform into turn-based battles.
There is a fusion system that lets you merge any two monsters for 100,000+ unique hybrids, animated with bond-based flair.
Players can use the monster abilities (glide, fly, swim, climb, dash, magnetism) in their human form to solve puzzles, dungeons and many secrets.
Build against rising adversaries for loot and awards. The pixel art of the game is amazing and the soundtrack is pretty good for the ears. This is pretty much like an old Pokémon game with endless replayability.
