It’s not looking good, Mr. Sony!

Fans are extremely worried as the PlayStation servers have been down for over 14 hours. This situation is reminiscent of the 2011 PlayStation Network outage.

Sony has acknowledged the issue with the PlayStation servers, but unfortunately, there is no confirmed information on when they will be back online. Let’s take a closer look at the details in this article.

Fans are scared?

There is no doubt that most players and fans are a little scared and are experiencing flashbacks of the PlayStation server outage that occurred in 2011.

This hack exposed personal information from around 77 million accounts, preventing users of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable systems from accessing the service. The incident took place between April 17 and April 19, 2011, prompting Sony to disable the PlayStation Network servers on April 20. The outage lasted for 23 days.

Currently, the servers have been down for 14 hours, leaving fans worried that this might be another hack. However, many fans believe that this is just a temporary server outage and unrelated to any hacking incident.

A Twitter user, FortnitePV2, is advising PlayStation users to change their PS ID password and enable Two-Step Verification. However, as we attempted to do so, we were unable to log in or make any changes due to the ongoing outage.

Meanwhile, Xbox users appear to be calm, taking to Twitter to mention that they have never experienced a similar issue. Similarly, PC gamers seem unaffected.

Many fans are still fuming about the PlayStation server outage, urging the company to resolve the issue immediately or provide a solid update on whether they have been hacked.

For now, it’s unclear when we can expect the servers to come back online. We will continue to provide updates on the PlayStation server situation, so be sure to follow us for the latest information.
