Fight Night’s Return has been years in the making
It’s been almost a decade since the revival of this franchise has been in the talks. Many reports suggested that EA plans to bring back the franchise before shifting its focus towards EA Sports UFC series.
In recent times, it was reported that an earlier reboot of Fight Night had been scrapped. The project seems to have been revived, however, with new owners and the resurgence of the boxing industry.
Saudi Arabia’s investments in professional boxing also seemed to have contributed to a resurgence in interest in the sport, culminating in the official confirmation of EA.
