Football Manager 27 reveals manager creator, customization, accessibility features & more

Sports Interactive has once again revealed another Football Manager 27 deep dive and it focuses on personalization, accessibility, and visual improvements.
In the latest update, it showcases an expanded manager creator, better representation options, customization, enhanced accessibility settings, and more realistic Newgen faces.

More new ways to create your manager
Football Manager 27 will grant more freedom when creating your virtual managers. You can create a character that might look just like you or create a completely original character. There are more customization options available compared to previous entries.
It now offers greater body flexibility, more ethnicity options, new facial features, new and more detailed skin, and new facial hair. There are also improvements to the physics of the hair, so that hair looks more natural in the game and cutscenes.
More than just customization is involved here. New shirts, jumpers, scarves, gloves, woollen hats and baseball caps have been added to the wardrobe. The color picker has been revived too, letting players use it more flexibly to customize clothes.
Favourite Club option is also back and now managers can select up to four favourite clubs before beginning their career.
Improved accessibility and representation
One of the biggest additions this Football Manager 27 deep dive showed was the introduction of wheelchair-using managers.
You can now create a manager who can use an electric-powered wheelchair. This decision is echoed in menus, matchday cutscenes, and even podium celebrations, with the redesign of their podiums to be completely accessible.
Many accessibility improvements are also made after listening to community feedback. Display scaling has been renamed to Small, Medium, and Large to better communicate its size and font sizes throughout the interface have been increased to make them easier to read. These are scaling enhancements for QHD and 4K resolution.
Major visual upgrade for newgens
Future Wonderkids are also receiving attention in Football Manager 27. This time, the developers have improved newgen skin textures, lighting, hair quality and colorization to provide a better and more realistic portrait.
The developers have also revealed that the next deep dive will feature more on the gameplay improvements, including upgrades to the 2D Match Engine and the In-Game Editor. You can read more in depth on the official website.
