Release date for Fortnite Community Day 2026

Epic Games has officially confirmed that the Community Day 2026 is going to take place on May 30, 2026.

Unlike the regular or short events, this event is expected to remain active throughout the day. Players will get enough time to experience all the new changes and get the free rewards.

This is the next event after the recent Fortnite 40.40 update, which recently brought the popular Overwatch collaboration to the game.

Community voted gameplay changes

There is no doubt that one of the biggest features of this event is the players themself deciding the gameplay modifiers through a public voting organized by the developers.

There are several chaotic and gameplay combinations:

• Infinite Infinity Blade leaps with unlimited vehicle fuel
• Mythic Goldfish spawning in regular chests
• Super Hammer Revolvers with mythic fishing rewards
• Finger Guns alongside larger Slapperoni Pizza stack sizes

“Finger Guns + Bigger Pizza Slice stack size” has won the vote of the fans. The Finger gun mechanic, which first appeared in Fortnite’s April Fools event, will now officially make a comeback for the Fortnite Community Day 2026.

Players will also carry larger stacks of Slapperoni Pizza slices, which will add more chaotic nature to the matches.

Expect free rewards

Although Epic Games has not officially confirmed the reward lineup, it is expected that Fortnite Community Day 2026 will feature exclusive free items for the players.

These rewards may include cosmetics, XP boosts, or even free skins, which will help the players to progress through Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass more quickly.
