Epic Games is preparing to introduce more exciting new sprites with Fortnite Cube Sprites. These new Sprite variants are inspired by the mysterious powers of Kevin the Cube.
All the new Sprites are expected to become part of the upcoming Hot Bat Summer Event. The most anticipated Batman Sprite is also expected to arrive. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Release date for Fortnite Cube Sprites
Based on the scheduled events, it is expected that both Cube Sprites and the Hot Bat Summer Event will be available around July 16, 2026.
Epic recently teased the event, revealing the Batman Sprite, which will debut during the update; new Sprite variants will start rolling out during the update.
But for the time being, it appears only the Batman Sprite and the returning Air Sprite will be included in the first wave.
For those who are not getting Cube Sprites with the initial update, they may be included in the next weekly content updates on July 23 or July 30.
As has been the case with past Fortnite updates, the new content should be released when the servers are back online at 9:00 AM ET.
How to collect Sprites?
It is expected that Epic Games will release 18 different Cube Sprite variants. Don’t expect them all to become available at the same time.
You can find the most Cube Sprites through:
- Sprite Chests
- Golden Fishing Spots
- Eliminating opponents carrying a Cube Sprite
- Trading Sprites with other players to complete collections

Fortnite Cube Sprites are currently expected to release on July 16, 2026, alongside the Hot Bat Summer Event. If delayed, they could arrive in later weekly updates.
