Fortnite downtime & server maintenance for April 15!

What to expect today?

The fans and players are prepared for Fortnite downtime today when Epic Games deploys a hotfix for the v34.30 update.

The downtime is scheduled for 6:00 AM ET (3:30 PM IST), with matchmaking disabled 30 minutes prior at 5:30 AM ET.

How long will Fortnite downtime last today?

It has already been confirmed by Epic Games that Fortnite Downtime will last for 60 minutes from 6:00 AM ET to 7:00 AM ET.

This is shorter if we compare it to the other major updates in the game. The last update clearly lasted around 90 minutes on April 8, 2025.

The server and matchmaking will go down 30 minutes beforehand, so make sure to wrap up your gaming session before then.

What’s coming with Fortnite v34.30 hotfix?

Today’s hotfix update is going to present the Slurp Rush Update for Fortnite Reload. For fans, this will be a new Chapter 2-inspired map into rotation.

In this map, you will have unlimited Slurp for healing and it will include seven iconic locations.

They are Slurpy Swamp, Dirty Docks, Steamy Stacks, Fort Crumpet, Lockie’s Lighthouse, Logjam Woodworks, and E.G.O Outposts.

This update will also bring fan-favorite weapons like the Red-Eye Assault Rifle, Mammoth Pistol, and Combat Shotgun.

These weapons are perfect for close combat. It is also expected that the addition of vehicles and other unvaulted weapons like the Gatekeeper and Dragon’s Breath Shotguns.

But for now, this has not been confirmed yet by Epic Games, so take this information with a grain of salt for now.

Once the servers are back and running, fans will be able to dive back into the Slurp to wreak some havoc. It is definitely going to be a chaotic battle.

Let’s just hope that nothing goes wrong with Fortnite downtime this time, as we don’t want that previous error where the game was offline for around a day.
