Virtual idol from Japan

The beloved Japanese virtual idol, Hatsune Miku collaboration with Fortnite is arriving very soon. It appears that she will headline the festival season 7 starting on January 14, 2025.

Leakers have suggested many things that fans can expect in this collaboration such as variation of skins and more. Let’s check out more details in this article.

When Hatsune Miku will arrive in Fortnite?

The official date of her arrival in the game is January 14, 2025. Epic Games has not officially been confirmed yet, however, main leakers like Hypex, Shinna and others have already confirmed that this collaboration will happen soon.

She will be featured in four different variants. There will also be Jam Tracks associated with her, making her inclusion in Fortnite’s musical Festival mode a perfect choice. Teasers have already surfaced in Chapter 6 of Season 1, hinting at the imminent event.

What about the music?

The leaks have also provided information on the potential song list for Hatsune Miku’s Fortnite appearance. Tracks like “M@GICAL CURE! LOVE SHOT!” featuring SAWTOWNE, “Miku” by Anamanaguchi, and “Daisy 2.0” with Ashnikko are rumored to be part of the lineup. If there is more information on the music in upcoming days, we will update the article immediately.

There is also a chance that this collaboration might overshadow the previously rumored NewJeans partnership for Season 7, suggesting either a delay or cancellation. For now, this blend of music and gaming collaboration is always welcome in the game.

Miku’s background

She is a virtual idol from Japan, originally released in 2007 as part of the Vocaloid software. This technology enables fans to make songs by entering lyrics and melodies, which Miku then sings with her distinct anime-style voice and look. She is more than just a digital singer; she has performed live as a hologram and appeared on shows such as The Late Show with David Letterman in 2014, when she performed her song “Sharing the World.”
