Release date & timings for Fortnite Holofoil Sprites

Epic Games has officially announced that the Holofoil Sprites are going to be added on July 9, 2026. This update will go live around 4:00 AM ET.

This will be a content update rather than a full patch. Once this is released, it will become permanent in Chapter 7 Season 3.

What are Holofoil Sprites?

These are the brand-new Sprite variant, which features a reflective, holographic appearance. Their bright design will make them easy to find on the island.

You can use them to improve your chance of finding rare Sprite variants:

• Gold Sprites
• Gummy Sprites
• Galaxy Sprites

So, if you are a collector who is collecting every Sprite, this will be a key to your success. According to leaks, there will be up to 15 different Holofoil Sprite variants.

Holofoil Hour event

There’s a new Holofoil Hour, which will arrive on July 11, 2026. This will be a limited-time event, where you will have increased opportunities to encounter Holofoil Sprites.
