Unlocking Godzilla evolved & Mecha Godzilla skins
On January 14, Fortnite went down for maintenance, moving to version 33.20 to prepare for this enormous event. Keep an eye on the precise start time as the day approaches. The Godzilla x Kong event will kick off on January 17.
Both Godzilla evolved and Mecha Godzilla skins will be available in the chapter 6 season 1 battle pass which will start on January 17, 2025.
Easy steps to unlock:
- Launch the Fortnite game.
- Then you have to purchase the chapter 6 season 1 battlepass.
- The locked pages of the battle pass will be unlocked on January 17, 2025.
- Complete the specific objectives to unlock these one-of-a-kind, time-limited skins.
Make sure to complete the objectives and claim these skins before the season ends. It is unknown whether these skins will come to the item shop later or not.
What can fans expect from the Godzilla event?
Although it is not confirmed by Epic Games right now, the latest leaks suggest that we might see interaction between Godzilla and King Kong.
According to Hypex leaks, players can turn into Godzilla with skills such as “Beam, Stomp, and Roar”. There’s also a “throw banana” skill that suggests commanding King Kong. Fans are also speculating that we might see some scenes from the movie in that interaction between them in Fortnite.
