Fortnite: How to transform into Godzilla & Medallion?

The most beloved and famous monster, Godzilla is finally here in Fortnite and players are already enjoying the latest event in the game. Many fans are still wondering how they can become this legendary Kaiju in the game.

In this article, we will talk about the details of this event, how to harness the power of this legendary Kaiju and more. Without wasting any more time, let’s get right into it.

Becoming Godzilla in Fortnite

Epic Games have already revealed everything on their official blogpost on the website. We will still tell you here on how you can become the Godzilla:

• Portal Appearance: Each match has a 20% chance of spawning a special portal. This is the portal through which you can become Godzilla.
• Rush to the Portal: If a portal does appear, your mission is to be the first player to reach and enter it. The player that successfully goes through changes into Godzilla, getting access to unique powers including the Roar (reveals adjacent players), Stomp, and the legendary Heat Ray.

However, do note this that this transformation is not 100% confirmed every time. There will be a little luck involve in these due to the random nature of the portal’s appearance.

What happens to the players that could not become the Godzilla in Fortnite? Let’s check it out:

• Take Down Godzilla: Your new goal is to defeat the kaiju by working together or on your own. All weapons are effective, but the Rail Gun stands out as especially important due to Godzilla’s weaknesses.
• Godzilla Fragments: As you combat Godzilla, fragments will drop off him, which you may pick up to recover 40 health and three dash charges.
• The player who deals the greatest damage to Godzilla will receive the Godzilla Medallion and the Exotic Burst Quad Launcher. The Medallion grants three dashes that recharge over time, similar to the Cerberus Medallion from Chapter 5 Season 2.
