Epic Games has finally confirmed that the Fortnite Kingdom Hearts collaboration is happening. This has been a very long awaited crossover and now Sora is finally arriving on the Battle Island.

Expected release date for Fortnite Kingdom Hearts collaboration

For now, Epic Games has not revealed the exact release date. They have only mentioned that this collaboration will arrive this week.

But if we follow the previous item shop releases and regular update schedule, then you can expect this collaboration to arrive with the Fortnite v42.20 update, which is expected on September 17, 2026.

Epic Games will reveal the official release date as we get closer to the next update.

What to expect?

The Kingdom Hearts protagonist, Sora, is finally arriving wearing his Kingdom Hearts II outfit along with his iconic weapon.

He has finally joined the gaming legends lineup such as Halo, Street Fighter, Doom, Resident Evil, Mega Man and more, in Fortnite.

The Fortnite leakers have also teased that we might get more characters and skins. Riku, Kairi, and Roxas are also expected to join the Fortnite Kingdom Hearts collaboration.
