Fortnite Lantern Fest 2026 start date

The official Fortnite Lantern Fest 2026 will start on February 19, 2026. This aligns with the broader love and legends roadmap.

Just like previous years, fans can expect the event-related content and Item Shop cosmetics to remain available until early March. This will give players enough time to participate in challenges and unlock the rewards.

New Skins, Free Rewards, and Gameplay Updates

According to speculations, this time the event is going to be bigger compared to previous editions. Reload mode will be the major focus, as it will receive a brand-new Lantern Fest-themed map added to its rotation.

This mode will also support 8 player team, which will add more chaos and fast-paced gameplay for the fans.

For now, the cosmetics are still kept under wraps; however, you can expect returning Lantern Fest skins like Anwar and Noora in the item shop. The lunar-inspired designs and festal appearance of these outfits have made them a favorite among the fans.

Apart from this, there are also some new teasers for a brand new skin for this year’s event. There are rumors that this outfit could be available for free for the fans. But it will be free through a Lantern Fest Cup or special event challenges.
