Latest Sprite trailer hints at possible Fortnite Obsession collaboration
The promotional video is called “The Obsession is Real | Fortnite Edit,” and is being produced by the studios behind the horror film produced by Focus Features and Blumhouse.
In the latest trailer, we don’t actually see the movie’s lead character, Nikki Freeman, portrayed by Inde Navarrette; instead, she is swapped out for Zero Point Sprite.
The concept can be judged as the player currently obsessed with hunting rare Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 3.
That’s not all, as Fortnite’s official TikTok account also liked a fan comment that says, “We need Obsession in Fortnite.”
Although this might not be an official announcement or reveal, fans are now expecting a Fortnite Obsession collaboration in the game.
What to expect?
If this collaboration really happens, then there is no doubt that we are going to get Nikki Freeman as a playable skin in the game. We can also get an alternate skin, “Freaky Nikki” style, inspired by the film.
Another possible skin could be for Bear, played by Michael Johnston, along with emotes, a pickaxe and more things in the bundle.
Is Fortnite collaborating with Obsession?
Not officially. Epic Games has only released a promotional trailer featuring Obsession references, and no skins or in-game collaboration have been confirmed.
