Fortnite server downtime for December 2024: When can you play online?

Last night’s concert event was just insane with over 14 million players but now the Fortnite servers are down because the new update and chapter 6 are finally here.

Fortnite server downtime timings

Fortnite performs maintenance prior to significant upgrades or new seasons to ensure smooth gameplay following its debut.

• West Coast (US): 6 PM
• East Coast (US): 9 PM
• India: 7:30 AM
• Singapore: 10 AM

Server Restoration Time

Based on the previous maintenance, when Fortnite servers went offline at 10 AM ET and returned online at 5 PM ET, below is the expected time for server restoration:

• West Coast (US): 9 p.m.
• East Coast (US): 3 AM (the following day).
• India: 2:30 pm.
• Singapore: 4 PM.

Keep in mind that these times may change if unexpected complications arise during the maintenance of the Fortnite server.

What’s new in this update?

Everyone is patiently waiting for servers to go back up online so they can enjoy the new update of the game.

• New Map: Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has an intriguing new map with 18 Points of Interest (POIs) and several landmarks.
• Movement Mechanics: Players now have four additional ways to navigate the map.
• Ledge Jump Roll Landing
• Wall Kick and Scramble

These additions aim to provide more dynamic and strategic mobility possibilities, hence improving the gameplay experience.

The Japanese theme-based chapter 6 is ready to make its mark in the game. It is also expected that Godzilla might be the main boss of the chapter 6 map just like Doctor Doom was in the previous one.

Although it sucks that the Fortnite servers are down right now for a better update, improvement and gameplay, fans will wait patiently for it.
