Epic Games has scheduled the Fortnite server downtime & maintenance for the v36.30. As always, the matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before. This will be the final update of this season.

Is the Fortnite server down?
The official Fortnite server downtime & maintenance will start on July 29, 2025, at 4 AM ET/ 1:30 PM IST.
During the server downtime, players won’t be able to enter the game. You can expect the downtime to last for at least 2-3 hours.
Previously, it took more than 6 hours, so if something like this happens again, we will make sure to keep you updated with it.

What to expect?
Epic Games have already teased the Fortnite Super Showdown live event. This is right before the season ends.
This event is scheduled for August 2, 2025, at 11.30 am PDT / 2.30 pm EDT / 7.30 pm BST.
For now, Epic Games have not revealed the detailed information about this event. However, they have teased a monster-type entity for this upcoming Fortnite Super Showdown event.
The trailer closes by identifying the event’s location, Demon’s Domain, and describing it as story event’. This suggests that the event is linked to the present villains, Kor and Mask Maker Daigo, rather than being an isolated occurrence.
New Ninja Blitz Royale will be available. Its mythic gameplay was revealed by Ninja on a livestream. Here’s what you can expect:
