Companion pets in the game!
Epic Games has just announced a very cool feature, which is Fortnite Sidekicks, in this battle royale game. This has launched alongside the Simpsons-themed Chapter 6 Mini Season 2 Battle Pass.
These loyal pet companions will stay beside you. Can other players hurt them? No! They are invisible to foes and damage-proof. Let’s check out more details in this article.
How to get your Fortnite Sidekicks?
In the battle pass, you can get the free sidekick, Peels. For the rest of them, players need to purchase them from the item shop, starting on November 7, 2025.
Expect a lineup including Bonesy (skeletal pup), Spike (porcupine punk), Lil’ Raptor (dino darling), Flopsticks (floppy fish?), and Cuddle Team Jr. (tiny team spirit).
If you have Bonesy Back Bling in your locker, then you will get the full Bonesy Sidekick at no extra cost. Expect prices like 1,200 V-Bucks for Bonesy, Spike, and Lil’ Raptor, 1,500 V-Bucks for Flopsticks, etc.

Customizing your Sidekick
Once you get them in your inventory, players can customize them according to their taste. For a color explosion, go to the Appearance tab and adjust the base, accent, and eye shades, as well as the eye shapes, to achieve the desired look. Feeling lazy? Select Randomize to hear Epic’s surprise mix.
Players can also name their sidekicks in the game; however, it should be under 16 characters.
Conclusion
Many might be wondering how they work. Fortnite Sidekicks can be considered as bling and they follow you in Battle Royale or Zero Build matches. The best part, they are immune to damage, so no one can hurt your cute companion in the game.
Players can also complete the sidekicks quest in the matches, which can earn them exclusive cosmetics.
