Fortnite v31.40 has been postponed
Fans have to wait a little more as we have gotten a Fortnite update delay right now, and the new v31.40 will be updated on October 12, 2024, at 2 am ET.

Reasons for Fortnite update delay
Epic Games released the statement via official social media accounts that the latest Fortnite v31.40 update was not yet ready to go out for now.
To provide a good experience for the fans and players, they have decided to postpone it to Saturday. Today’s downtime has been now delayed to October 12, 2024, at 2 am ET.
Many fans were up all night as I can see on Twitter and now they have to wait more for all the crazy and spooky updates which they will get in Fortnite.

Symbiote Cup
A new Fortnite Skin tournament has been announced which is called the Symbiote Cup. This will be held on October 22, 2024. The ones who are competing in the tournament can win the new She-Venom and Agony Outfits. This is a battle duo tournament and you must have a 50-level or above account to participate in it.
In the compete section in Fortnite, that’s where you will find the competition when it starts.
