Epic Games has confirmed that the Fortnite v40.41 update is all set to arrive on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Just like all the previous patches for the update, players can expect the downtime and server maintenance to start at 4 AM ET.
The servers will go offline for 2-4 hours. The online matchmaking will be closed while the servers are under maintenance.
It is a special patch as it will be the last major patch for Chapter 7 Season 2. As v40.41 rolls out, the players can expect the formal chain of events to start for Chapter 7 Season 3, such as teasers, encrypted files, and maybe some leaks on the next live event.

One of the biggest highlights of this update will be the news related to the upcoming new season.
