Fortnite x Thunderbolts collaboration: Release date, skins & more

Epic Games has once again hyped their fans with a new collaboration, which is with Marvel’s Thunderbolts, who are arriving in Fortnite.

Yelena Belova (White Widow) and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier) comic-inspired skins will arrive in the item shop very soon.

This collaboration is to celebrate the upcoming Marvel movie, which is releasing on May 1, 2025. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Release date and first look for Thunderbolts

This collaboration is all set to go live on April 30, 2025, at 8:00 PM ET, with purchases available in these time zones:

• US: 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT
• UK: 1:00 AM BST (May 1)
• Australia: 10:00 AM AEST (May 1)

These skins are designed in a pen-ink comic-based style, which captures the essence of Winter Soldier and White Widow from their upcoming movie.

Talented Florence Pugh is playing the role of White Widow while Sebastian Stan once again playing the Winter Soldier.

Skins and Cosmetics

This collaboration will introduce two outfits with a wide range of cosmetics for the fans:

White Widow Outfit

• White Widow’s Pack Back Bling
• White Widow’s Fangs Pickaxe
• White Widow Wrap
• White Widow’s Mac Emote (a nod to Yelena’s love for macaroni and cheese)

Winter Soldier Outfit

• Winter Soldier’s Spare Back Bling
• Armament Axe Pickaxe (with built-in Arm-Up Emote)
• Winter Soldier Wrap

You will be able to purchase the whole bundle or even purchase them individually. The official price is yet to be revealed.

On April 25, 2025, Fortnite will host the Thunderbolts Cup, a free-to-enter Duos Battle Royale tournament. Top-placed teams in each region receive the White Widow Bundle (skin and accessories) for free. Additional rewards include:

• Winter Soldier Wrap: 8 points.
• White Widow Wrap: 40 points.

You will be able to purchase the whole bundle or even purchase them individually. The official price is yet to be revealed.
