Forza Horizon 5 PS5 release date, pre-order bonuses & editions revealed

Time to rev up the engines on PS5
The hype in the PlayStation 5 community is immense related to Forza Horizon 5. It has been finally confirmed that the game is launching on April 29, 2025 and pre-orders are already live right now.
This open-world racing game, which was previously only available on Xbox and PC, is forging new ground. Premium Edition buyers can get in early on April 25, giving them an extra four days to crank up the engines.
Pre-Order bonuses and Editions
Secure your copy now from the PlayStation Store and receive some great extras, including the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE cover car, 5,000 Forzathon Points for in-game prizes, and five Backstage Passes to unlock rare rides. Three editions are up for grabs:
- Standard Edition (Rs. 3,999) – Base game plus pre-order perks.
- Deluxe Edition (Rs. 5,399) – Adds the Car Pass for 42 extra vehicles.
- Premium Edition (Rs. 6,599) – Packs in Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure DLCs, Car Pass, Welcome Pack, VIP perks, and early access.
Graphics modes for PS5 and PS5 Pro
On your PlayStation console, you can choose the Performance Mode that delivers 60fps or the Quality Mode with 30fps with ray-traced reflections in races and free roam.
PS5 Pro owners receive a bonus: Performance Mode improves visual fidelity, while Quality Mode adds glossy automobile reflections. It’s a visual feast for Sony’s powerful platforms.
Alongside this launch, a new update will also roll out for Forza Horizon 5 on April 25, 2025 for all the platforms.
This free drop adds four new prize cars and a slick stadium track, revitalizing the Horizon Festival for both veterans and newcomers alike. It’s an ideal welcome mat for PS5 players starting the journey.
