There were so many games that truly deserved to be on this list this year, but sadly, not everyone can make it. However, it is safe to say that these six games were the best.

Nintendo delivered the highly popular Donkey Kong game as an amazing experience on Switch 2 for the die-hard fans.

Hideo Kojima once again delivered his masterclass with Death Stranding 2. The graphics, visuals and story were truly incredible, with a lot of action and active gameplay this time in this series.

Hades 2 was in early access and then finally launched with full release. It secured high reviews from both critics and fans.

The most-awaited sequel for Hollow Knight, Hollow Knight Silksong, finally launched this year and almost broke the Steam and PlayStation servers.

Warhorse Studios’, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was truly a masterpiece of an open-world action RPG set in 15th-century Medieval Europe. 

Last but not least, with the highest chances of winning GOTY 2025, Clair Obscur Expedition 33. An Indie game launched with medium expectations truly achieved what even big AAA titles could not for several years.
