This means that the development of the game is now complete and the team will now focus on launching the game and making any final adjustments if needed. The developers have also shared the pre-load and early access details and let’s check them out.

Pre-load date for Gears of War E-DAY
The Coalition has officially announced that the pre-load for the game will start on September 29, 2026, at 8:00 AM PST.
The pre-load will be available for players who own the game on Xbox or PC. It will also be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers as well.
Early access details
Fans and players who have purchased the Premium Edition won’t have to wait till October 6, 2026. They can play the game early with the early access that will start on October 1 at 8:00 AM PST.
The game will officially launch on October 6, 2026, at 8:00 AM PST for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
