Sucker Punch Studios has recently announced the Ghost of Yotei free update 1.1, which will be arriving on November 24, 2025, on PS5. If you have completed Atsu’s vengeance, don’t worry, there is still a lot to do in the Ezo region.

Ghost of Yotei 1.1 Patch Notes: New Game+ & key features

New Game+ Headliner

Restart from the main screen, carrying over all of your gear and upgrades. Now take on Ezo with maxed swords and bows. Harder difficulties and two new Trophies increase the replay rate.

Replay & Stats

You can now replay the duels, bosses and quests. You will also be able to see your stats.

Weapon/Armor Upgrades

New armor sets and extra tier accros all gear, which will be perfect for the new game+ mode.

New Vendor & Cosmetics

A new currency has been added, Ghost Flowers. Players can exchange this with new vendors to get 30+ new cosmetics, including new dyes. There are also 10 new charms.

Photo Mode & Accessibility

New accessibility option has been added with directional button remapping. Photo mode is also going to feature shutter speed, a composition grid, and new filters.

Senior comms manager Andrew Goldfarb has also shared more about the update on PlayStation Blog:

“We’re thrilled to close the year with these features… revisit Atsu’s story in New Game+ or dive fresh this holiday. Ghost of Yōtei Legends looms in 2026!”
