Jaffe praised the game’s excellent blend of puzzle-solving, exploration, and fighting, all of which appeal to fans of the Indiana Jones franchise.

Despite that, he felt like the game should have been 20% shorter. This statement parallels a prevalent view about modern game lengths, implying that even great games may benefit from more compact storylines or gameplay.

Some fans argued with him regarding this telling him that the game can be completed in 12-14 hours. If you do other stuff in the game, that’s on you.

In reply to this, David said, “That’s a game design problem imo. And most games today suffer from it. Easy fix but no one seems to want it but a few of us.”

Despite only releasing on Xbox and PC, the game had a huge success and now MachineGames is looking further to expand the universe of Indiana Jones. There have been rumors that they have already started to plan their next project for the Indy games.

Fans loved Indiana Jones & The Great Circle and even the reviews are very good for the game. PS5 owners can’t wait for their turn to play this game. It is expected that it will be released in Spring 2025 for PS5 and Pro.
