Biggest game releases of 2026
In a recent interview with The Game Business, Tyler Bahl has described GTA 6 and Modern Warfare 4 as the year’s two biggest game releases.
He also commented on the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake and suggested that despite its popularity on Nintendo Switch, it won’t surpass either GTA or Call of Duty.
“No offense to Zelda, but GTA and COD are the two biggest games of the year.”
He also talked about how more players and gamers are coming into dashboards and dusting off their Xbox or PlayStation and playing again.
Tyler also believes that the GTA 6 release could indirectly benefit Call of Duty. The upcoming Rockstar’s blockbuster title will encourage more gamers and players to purchase XBOX and PlayStation. This will further create a large audience who wants to play other games, especially the Call of Duty franchise.
Conclusion
Despite all the criticism that Call of Duty receives, there is no doubt that this franchise continues to sell millions of copies every year.
Tyler seemed to have hyped up the game too much, as most of the fans and gamers believe that GTA 6 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake are going to be far superior games than Modern Warfare 4.
