Get ready for the Fall 2025 release!
Take-Two Interactive, which is the parent company of Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA 6 is still on track with the fall release 2025. The announcement came during Take-Two Interactive’s Q3 2025 earnings call along with some other updates.
This has now ensured the fandom that the game won’t be delayed for now. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Take-Two’s confidence in GTA 6
“Looking ahead, this calendar year is shaping up to be one of the strongest ever for Take-Two, as we plan to launch… Grand Theft Auto VI in the Fall,” the statement read.
This revelation may surprise some, given that online talk suggested a delay due to the lack of a second trailer. The first trailer, which debuted in December 2023, broke several YouTube records, including ‘Most Viewed Video Game Reveal on YouTube in 24 Hours’ and ‘Most Liked Video Game Trailer on YouTube in 24 Hours.’
The enormous buzz has undoubtedly increased Rockstar and Take-Two’s confidence, lowering the need for fast updates. Take-Two Interactive has also planned to support Nintendo Switch 2. There is a possibility that GTA 6 might be available on Switch 2 as well.
As of now, the fans have yet to receive a GTA 6 trailer 2 or any update on the confirmed release date. But seeing how Take-Two Interactive is confident with the fall release of 2025, fans can expect new updates pretty soon.

Fans are speculating the release timeline between August to December 2025 for the official release of the game. There are also rumors about the PlayStation State of Play event showcase that might happen on February 14, 2025. Maybe there is a chance that Rockstar Games might surprise the fans at that event.
Also after reconfirming that GTA 6 will be released in fall 2025, Take-Two Interactive shares have hit all-time high records. Take-Two Interactive Software’s stock opened at $198, reached a high of almost $213, and closed at $208.77.
